The Amar Jawan Ride collects a small amount of personal data so we can run a safe ride day and keep you informed. This page explains what we collect, why, who can see it and how to change or delete it. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Amar Jawan Riders ("AJR", "we") organises the Amar Jawan Ride and runs amarjawanride.com. For anything about your data, contact us and mark your message "Privacy".

Your first name and last name, ride city, club, motorcycle, photo, bio and Instagram handle (where you have added them) appear on your public rider page and on the leaderboard. Your email, phone, blood group and emergency contact are never public. When fundraising opens, amounts raised are shown; donors who choose to stay anonymous are never named.
AJR's organising team and the host team of your city, for running the ride. Club captains can see the names of riders in their club. Our systems run on Supabase (database and sign-in) and Vercel (website hosting); emails are sent through Zoho. These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
For as long as you have an account. If a city ride is cancelled, your registration rolls to the next edition. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard (Settings, Delete account), which removes your profile, rider record, club memberships and photo. We may keep anonymised counts (for example, how many riders registered in a city).
You can view and edit everything we hold about you from your dashboard. You can ask us to correct it, export it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent to communications at any time. Write to us through the contact page; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences (such as having seen the intro once). There is no advertising tracking.
You must be 18 or older to register as a rider.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell registered riders by email before ride day. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
