They gave their tomorrow for our today.

We ride so their families never stand alone. Every rupee raised goes to them, through a partner we choose in the open, after the ride.

अमर जवान, अमर रहें

The families we ride for

When a soldier of the Indian Armed or Paramilitary Forces falls, the country mourns for a day. The family carries it for a lifetime, a widow who must now provide, children who must still be educated, parents who have lost a son and often their support.

What they need is not a moment of silence. It's what comes next: a dignified, sustainable livelihood, education for the children, and people who don't forget. That's what the money is for.

Why the money stays in India

At the charity ride we used to host in Chennai, riders kept asking a fair question: we raise this money in India, so why isn't any of it used in India? The funds went to a foundation overseas, and the rules allowed no exceptions.

The Amar Jawan Ride is our answer. Every rupee raised here stays here, with the families of the soldiers who gave their lives for it.

Raise first. Then choose, in the open.

We are not tied to a single NGO. Riders, clubs and supporters raise the money; AJR then screens organisations that work directly with martyr families and publishes the choice, the transfer and the proof. Nothing is sent until that's public.

1 · Raise

Riders and clubs raise through personal and team pages. Every payment verified, every donor receipted.

2 · Screen

Paperwork, conversations and site visits with organisations that work directly with the families of the fallen.

3 · Pass on 100%

AJR takes nothing. The partner, the amount and the transfer confirmation are published before a rupee moves.

What the money is for

Livelihood support

Skills, seed support and placement for veer naaris, the widows of martyred soldiers, so a family has an income, not just a pension.

Children's education

School and college support for the children of the fallen, so the next generation isn't the one that pays.

Dignity & community

Felicitation at every ride, a seat of honour at the finish, and a community of riders who show up, year after year.

Our commitment to donors

✓
AJR takes nothing

Registration is free and no part of any donation funds the ride itself. Event costs are met separately.

✓
No partner is pre-selected

The organisation that receives the funds is chosen after the ride, against published criteria, and named here before a rupee moves.

✓
Every donor gets a receipt

Confirmation from AJR plus the payment receipt. 80G eligibility depends on the partner chosen and is confirmed with the announcement.

✓
Anonymous means anonymous

Any donor can hide their name from every public page. Contact details are kept privately for receipts only.

✓
We report back

After each ride, a public note on how much was raised and where it went; impact updates from the partner every six months.

✓
Open books

Stakeholders and the partner organisation get read-only access to verify totals.

One day. One ride. A salute that never fades.

Why a motorcycle ride? Because riders show up. A convoy through a city is impossible to ignore, and the brotherhood of the road is exactly what these families need: people who don't forget.
